TypingHub keeps a separate board for every mode and setting, so a short sprint is never compared with a long run. Reach them from the Leaderboard button under the typing area, or from the TypingHub leaderboard button on the dashboard leaderboard page.
Choosing a board
Pills across the top group the boards under Time, Words and Quotes, each with its own lengths, plus a separate Words mastered board drawn from the Learning pathway. A toggle switches between This week and All time. The mastered words board is all time only.
What is listed
The columns are Rank, Student, Best wpm and Accuracy, or words mastered on that board. Students are shown by first name and last initial. The student's own standing is repeated in a row underneath, so it can be found without scrolling.
Who appears
Only students. Staff, tutors and admin accounts are filtered out, which is why a teacher testing the page never appears in the rows. There is no year group or school filter: it is one board for everybody.
Weekly and all time
Nothing is ever deleted. All time keeps every counted run for good, and This week is simply a view of runs since the start of the current week, so it clears itself each Monday.
If a good run is missing
Check these first, in this order. The run must be finished, not abandoned. Accuracy must be high enough. And it must be on that board's plain settings: turning on punctuation or numbers, or using the My words pool, makes a run practice rather than a ranked attempt. A run that misses on any of these is still saved in the student's own history, it just stays off the board.
