Answering a question in LearningHub

1 min read Updated Sept. 2026
Where to find it
Dashboard > Learn > any subject > any skill Open it

Picking a skill opens one question on its own screen, laid out exactly like a real exam paper. Choose or type an answer, then press Check answer. The question is marked on the spot and the screen turns into the marked version of itself, with the correct answer shown beside what was entered.

The explanation

Every question carries a written explanation. Press Show explanation and a panel slides in from the side without covering the question, so the working can be read against the question and, in Reading, against the passage. The panel stays open or closed the way it was last left.

Moving on

  • Next question serves another question in the same skill. After a wrong or partly correct answer this button waits a few seconds before it can be pressed, so the explanation gets read.
  • All skills goes back to the skill list for that subject.
  • Skip for now puts a question aside before answering it. Nothing is counted against the student and the question comes back fresh later.

Saving a question

The bookmark button in the question header saves a question to the Bookmarks screen, which is the place to revisit anything worth a second look.

Other things you may see

A Comeback chip means this is the exact question missed earlier. A Seen before chip means every new question in that skill has already been answered, so this is a repeat. Occasionally a skill shows a restocking message: fresh questions are being written for it, and the Check again button reloads when they are ready.
