LearningHub is where a student practises one skill at a time, one question at a time. Open it from the Learn pill in the top navigation. Every answer is marked straight away and comes with a written explanation, so practice doubles as teaching.
How it is organised
A rail across the top of every screen holds the subjects: Maths, Thinking, Reading, and Writing for students whose course includes it. Each subject opens a list of skills, grouped under headings such as Number and place value or Visual and spatial. Tap a skill and the questions begin.
The Home screen
Home greets the student by name and puts one card above everything else: the next thing worth practising, with a Practise now button. Underneath sit three tiles, XP, Streak and Skills in progress, a bar showing how many skills have been mastered, the badges unlocked so far and a glance at the leaderboard.
The other screens
- Insights shows a Readiness band, weak areas drawn from mock tests and from LearningHub answers, and a list of recent answers.
- Bookmarks holds every question saved with the bookmark button in a question header.
- Battle is a live race against other students on the same question.
- Badges, Shop and Leaderboard are where XP is displayed, spent and ranked.
Who can open it
LearningHub is for students on the OC and Selective streams, and for Year 3 to Year 6 students while they hold a current in person class enrolment. If the Learn pill is missing from the navigation, the year level on the profile is the usual reason, and support can check it.
Writing
Writing practice has its own space and its own coaching, and is covered in Online Practice Tests.
