The round Testy button in the bottom right corner opens a panel headed Testy, with the line Here to help on this page underneath. The box at the bottom reads Ask Testy about this page, and there is an f(x) button beside it for typing maths.
He knows where you are
The dock reads the page it is sitting on, so the suggestions above the message box change with it. For example:
- On the dashboard: What should I do today? and Show me around.
- On the classroom home: When is my next class? and What homework is due?.
- On homework: How do I submit this? and What is still due?.
- On practice tests: Which paper next?. On Performance: What is my weakest area?.
- On LearningHub home: What should I practise?. On the leaderboard: How do I earn XP?.
- On a marked test: Explain this question and Why was I wrong?.
These are shortcuts, not limits. Anything can be typed instead.
The full panel on the dashboard
On the dashboard and the classroom home the dock is opened from Ask Testy on Testy's card and fills the screen. That version offers a row of topics to start from, including enrolling, trials, bundles and pricing, classes and homework, FlexiClass, tests and marking, LearningHub, and Something else.
Report a problem
Report a problem sits with those topics. It does not send anything by itself: it opens the panel and starts the message for the student, who then describes what went wrong in their own words. Testy passes the finished message to the Test Academy team.
Where the dock does not appear
It is deliberately absent from a LearningHub question while it is being answered and from TypingHub, so nothing sits over the work. On a marked test the button moves into the page's own bottom bar and is labelled Ask Testy.
