Your plan is the card on the dashboard that says what to do next. Testy builds it from the student's own work: papers that have not been reviewed, skills that went badly, homework that is due, comebacks waiting, writing and typing worth a go. It appears again on the classroom home, and on Testy's page as Next up and inside Your progress.
Reading it
Items are grouped under Today, This week and Later, each with a count. The List and Week buttons swap between the grouped list and seven day columns. Each item shows what it is, why Testy put it there, and its due day, with anything late marked as overdue.
Acting on an item
- The square button on the left ticks an item off.
- Go opens the page the item is about.
- Do it with Testy appears where Testy can teach the item himself, and opens a conversation about it.
- Skip sets it aside.
- Done today at the foot of the card opens what has been finished, and anything there can be put back.
Items also tick themselves off when the work is detected, so a paper reviewed on the practice page does not need ticking by hand.
Adding your own
At the foot of the card, type a task, pick a due date and press Add to plan. Items added this way are the student's own and are never rewritten when Testy refreshes the plan. Testy can also add, tick off or skip an item if asked in a conversation.
How much per week
How much per week sets how full the plan gets: Light, Moderate or Intense. It changes the size of the plan, not what is available on the site.
If it is empty
A new account has nothing to plan from. Sit a paper or answer a LearningHub question and Testy fills it in.
