A tutor's profile is what families see on the tutor card and at the top of the booking page. Tutors edit one part of it themselves, the bio, on My profile. The photo is the account picture.
Your photo
The photo on your card and booking page is the picture on your Test Academy account. There is no separate upload. My profile links to your account page, where you change it, and the new picture shows on the cards. With no picture set, families see your initials.
Your bio
Write the bio in the box on My profile and press Save profile. Families see it on the booking page, shortened to a few lines with Read more to open the rest, so put the most useful lines first. It does not appear on the tutor card.
What the office sets
The top of My profile shows these for reference. The office changes them:
- display name and headline
- highlights, the short facts such as school or qualifications
- whether you teach the general or specialist track, in person, online or both
- whether you are accepting bookings
The office also sets your year levels, focus areas and rates, which drive the filters on the Book tab and the price families see. They do not show on this page. Ask the office if any of these needs updating.
