Running a live session

During a session, a tutor works from the live console: a list of boards they can push to the student, one at a time, with everything pushed saved to that session's record.

Boards

A board can be a worksheet page, a LearningHub or test question picked by skill or from a past attempt, a fresh whiteboard, or an uploaded page or image. Pushing a board is what the student actually sees; queueing one up first does not show it yet.

Working on a board

The tutor and student can both write on a pushed board. Questions are answered by the student in place and marked when the tutor reveals the answer; worksheet pages are marked by hand on the same board.

In person or online

The console works the same way for both modes. In person, the tutor usually runs it on the centre's own screen and the student's device is optional; online, the student follows the same boards on their own screen during the video call.
