After a session, the tutor writes up feedback and can set work for the student to do before the next one. Both are usually in place within a day of the session.
Feedback
The feedback is a short written note from the tutor about how the session went, plus an outcome for each focus area that was worked on. It appears on the session record and in a feedback email, and also shows up as a Teacher Feedback entry on the Classroom page alongside feedback from term classes. If the student did not attend, the feedback says so instead of describing a session that did not happen.
Assigned work
A tutor can set follow-up work: a LearningHub skill to practise, a test to sit, a worksheet to complete, or a plain task. Each one appears both in the student's study plan on Home and in the Assigned work list on the 1-on-1 Tutoring page, with its due date and a link straight to it. A LearningHub task still opens to a paywall for a student without LearningHub access; a 1-on-1 booking on its own does not include it.
Marking work off
Most assigned work is marked done automatically once the student actually does it: practising the skill enough times, sitting and finishing the test, or submitting the worksheet. A plain task is ticked off by the student themselves.
