Describe the worksheet in your own words and press Generate. It is written for that one student, at their year level, so no two worksheets are the same and nothing is reused from a bank.
Where to generate
- In Prep, under Queue, with Generate worksheet, to have it ready before the session.
- In the console, under Add then Generate worksheet, to write one live.
- In the Feedback step, under Homework, with Add task then Worksheet and Generate one.
What to ask for
A sentence or two is enough, for example ratio word problems with a table, then two harder ones. A worksheet can mix reading passages, question groups of any type, tables, graphs and diagrams, and blank working space. Asking for something narrow, even a single question to teach now, works too.
Options
- Theory (shown as Theory first in the console): adds a short teaching section before the questions, with the key idea, a worked example and common mistakes. If it cannot be written, the worksheet says so rather than leaving it out silently.
- Compact, Standard or Roomy: how much room there is to write.
While it is written
Pages appear as they are ready. A worksheet that cannot be completed says This worksheet could not be written, and you can try again with the same prompt.
Answer key, print and homework
The Answer key button opens a panel only you can see. It is never printed and never shown to the student, on screen or through any link. Print prints the same PDF the student sees. Set as homework adds the worksheet to the Feedback step, and it goes out when you send feedback. Worksheets are not marked or scored: you go through them with the student.
