A confirmed session can be moved to another open time with the same tutor, for the same number of hours, as long as it is still far enough from its start. There is no way to cancel a session outright and no refund for simply not wanting it anymore: moving it to a new time is the only change a family can make themselves.
Moving a session
Open the session from the 1-on-1 Tutoring page and choose Reschedule. The page offers that tutor's open times over the next two weeks; picking one and confirming cancels the old time and books the new one in the same action, keeping the same price and the same focus.
If it is too close to start
Once a session is too close to its start time, the Reschedule page says so and does not offer a new time. At that point the only way to change it is to contact the team through the contact page.
Admin exceptions
The team can step in for cases the family cannot handle themselves: moving a session to a different tutor, granting an extra reschedule once the usual window has closed, or refunding a session. These are handled individually and are not something a family can trigger from the website.
