The last step of the enrolment wizard, Complete payment, offers two tiles: Card or bank debit, which is paid securely online through Stripe, and PayID bank transfer, which you pay from your banking app. No method carries a surcharge, so the total is the same whichever you pick.
Comparing them first
The Review & Confirm step shows the same total three ways before you commit:
- BECS bank transfer: no extra cost, two to three business days.
- PayID bank transfer: no fees, pay instantly from your banking app.
- Card payment: no extra cost, instant.
Card or bank debit
Choosing this tile opens Stripe's payment form, which accepts cards and direct debit from an Australian bank account. Card payments confirm on the spot and you land on Enrolment confirmed. A direct debit takes a few business days to clear, so the enrolment is provisional until it does. We never store your card details.
PayID bank transfer
The PayID tile shows numbered instructions: open your banking app, choose Pay someone, select PayID and then ABN, then enter the ABN, the exact amount and the reference shown on screen. Each of those has a copy button. The amount must match exactly and the reference is how we match your payment, so put it in the description field. When you have sent it, tap I have sent the payment. Your child's spot is held while we confirm the transfer, which is usually same day, and the screen says Enrolment received, payment being verified.
If a payment does not go through
You will see Payment failed, and the enrolment shows under Payment Failed on your Enrolments page with a link to try again or switch method.
