Yes. Booking a trial puts your child on the roll for that class, so they get the same in class tools an enrolled student has, and can sit the classwork test the teacher reads out a code for.
Where it is
Once a trial is booked, Classwork and Homework appear in the dashboard menu. On the Classwork page, the student view is a single box: type the code under Enter Access Code, press Find Test, and the test opens if the code belongs to a course your child is on the roll for. Codes for other courses will not open, which is why the page sometimes says a code is not available for your class.
Seeing the result
Finished attempts move to the Results & Review tab on the same page, where your child can go back through the paper and read the explanations once it has been marked. Writing tasks take longer to come back than multiple choice.
Practice tests
Some courses have online practice tests attached to them. When the class you are trialling is one of those, booking also opens those tests on your practice dashboard for a short window around the session, so your child can look before or after the class.
What a trial does not include
Homework is not set for a trial. Your child is on the roll for the one session they booked, not the rest of the term, so the homework tracker and its reminder emails do not apply to them.
How long access lasts
Trial access is tied to the session. It closes again shortly after the class unless you enrol in the course, and enrolling keeps everything open and adds the rest of the term. If access disappears while you are mid enrolment, give the payment a moment to confirm and then check again.
