The day after the session we email you, and what it says depends on the roll. If your child came, it asks how they found it. If they were marked absent, it says we missed them and offers another go. Either way you can reply to the email and a person reads it.
If your child attended
The email thanks you for trying the course and asks how your child found the session. Replying is the fastest way to ask about the teacher, the level, the pace, or anything you noticed. The same email carries a link through to enrolling in that course, for families who already know.
If your child missed it
The email says we missed them, and invites you either to book another session or to reply and talk about whether the course is right. A missed trial does not lock you out of the course, which is set out in Booking a trial again.
Enrolling after a trial
Enrolling is its own short process at /enrol/, where you choose the class and the term and pay. There is nothing to carry across from the trial and no code to quote: the wizard already knows who your child is. The full walk through is in How to enrol in a class, and the price for the class you are looking at is shown on the course page and again in the wizard before you pay.
What happens to the trial access
The classroom and classwork access a trial gives your child is tied to the one session, and it closes again shortly afterwards. Enrolling keeps it open and adds the rest of the term's sessions, the homework and the class booklets. If you enrol and something looks missing for a moment, give the payment time to confirm and check again.
If you are undecided
Reply to the follow up email with what you are weighing up. We would rather answer the awkward question than have you guess, and there is no obligation to enrol after a trial.
