A free trial is one real class your child sits alongside our regular students, at no cost and with nothing to pay or cancel afterwards. You book it at /trial/, which is the Free Trial Class link in the site header and the trial button on our term course pages.
Before you start
Booking needs an account, and the booking page builds one for you rather than sending you away to log in. If you are signed out, the page opens with two tabs, Create account and I have an account. Creating one asks for your own name, your email, a password and your mobile number, and we text you a code to confirm the number. Press Continue to booking and the page reloads straight into the booking steps. Testy, our assistant, rides along the top of the page and talks you through each one.
Step by step
- Course. Pick the course you want to try. Only courses with trial sessions actually running are shown, with the year groups each one is for.
- Child. Your child's first name, last name, year group and date of birth. These are filled in from your account where we can work them out, so most families only check them. The year group has to be the one your child is in now, because it decides which classes you are offered.
- Parent. Your full name, your address and an emergency contact. We ask for these once, for your child's safety on the day, and they are remembered for next time.
- Session. Real upcoming dates for that course, each card showing the class, the time and whether it runs at our Parramatta centre or online. Pick the one that suits.
- Confirm. A summary of the course, the student, the session and the location. Press Book my free trial.
What happens next
You land on a confirmation page with the booking details, and we email the same details to you. A reminder follows the day before. From then on the session sits on your classroom page with a Free trial label, which is where you join an online trial from and where you can cancel.
If the session you want is not there
The list only shows sessions your child's year group can join, in the current or next term, that still have room, and that are far enough away to organise. A class that is full, that runs later today or tomorrow morning, or that sits beyond the booking window will not appear. Change the year group if you picked the wrong one, or check back as new dates come into range.
