Written feedback from a teacher appears in the Teacher Feedback card on the Classroom page, under the list of classes. Each entry shows the teacher's name and photo, when it was last updated, and what they wrote.
How it works
A teacher keeps one piece of feedback per student, and updates it as the term goes on, so the card holds their current view rather than a long history. A student with more than one teacher sees one entry from each. Until a teacher has written anything, the card reads No feedback from your teacher yet. It will show up here after a class.
Feedback is not written on the homework
Homework marks are the student's own: the questions are marked by the student on the self marking page, and a teacher does not write comments back onto that page. What the teacher sees there is the handed in work, the marks the student gave themselves, which questions were flagged as got stuck, and the note the student left. Anything the teacher wants to say about it comes back through the Teacher Feedback card or in class.
Writing back
The Notes for your teacher box on the self marking page is the place to ask about a question or explain what was hard. It is read alongside the marked work. For anything urgent, or anything about enrolment or payment, contact the team rather than leaving it in a note.
Reports on progress
Beyond this card, progress lives in the numbers: the homework totals on the Homework page, the score on each test, and the performance pages for online practice. A family who wants a fuller picture than the card gives should ask the team, who can arrange a conversation with the teacher.
