Seeing attendance for a class

Dashboard > Enrolments > Your Class Schedule Open it

Attendance for a term class is shown on the Enrolments page, in the Your Class Schedule section. Every session of the class is a small chip with its date and time, and the chips for sessions that have already happened carry the teacher's mark.

What each chip means

  • Blue: a session still to come.
  • Green with a tick: the student was marked present.
  • Amber with a clock: marked late.
  • Red with a cross: marked absent.
  • Grey: the session has passed and no mark was recorded.

A grey chip does not mean the student was away. It means the roll was not marked for that session, which happens from time to time. Treat it as no information rather than as an absence.

Who marks it

The teacher marks the roll in class. There is no way for a family to change a mark from the website, and no email goes out when a student is marked absent. If a mark looks wrong, tell your teacher or contact the team and it can be corrected.

What attendance does not affect

Attendance is a record only. It does not change homework, XP or access to the booklet: a student who misses a lesson still sees that session's booklet and homework on their Classroom page, and can still hand the work in. FlexiClass sessions and trial classes are not part of this list, which covers term class enrolments.
