Reviewing a marked test

2 min read Updated Sept. 2026
Where to find it
Dashboard > Practice > Results & Review Open it

Go to Dashboard, then Practice, open the Results & Review tab and press Review Attempt on the paper you want. That opens the review page, question by question, with your child's answer beside the correct one.

The button reads View Results instead once the paper has already been reviewed once. Both open the same page.

Where reviewing does not happen

Not on the Performance page. Performance shows trends, a skill breakdown and a history table, and it has no links into an attempt. Reviewing always starts from Practice, on the Results & Review tab. A paper set by a teacher is reviewed the same way from Classwork, on its own Results & Review tab.

What the review page shows

  • A verdict on each question: Correct, Incorrect or the marks earned where a question is worth several.
  • The options with Your answer and Correct answer labelled, or Correct, your answer when they are the same one.
  • Show explanation, which slides out the worked reasoning where the question has one.
  • Time spent, Flag status and the question's Category.
  • Bookmark, to save the question to the Bookmarks tab.
  • Find on LearningHub, which opens the matching skill in a new tab.
  • Annotate, for writing on the question with a pen, a highlighter or a text box.
  • The passage and the question overview work exactly as they did during the test, except the tiles now show Correct and Incorrect, and the jump button becomes Next incorrect.

The XP for reviewing

The attempt card on Results & Review says Review mistakes to earn 200 XP when the score is above 50 percent, and Review mistakes to learn when it is not. The XP is granted once, the first time your child opens the review page for that attempt, and the card then reads Reviewed.

Analytics is a different page

The Analytics button beside Review Attempt opens a breakdown of the attempt by subject, timing and difficulty. It is worth a look, but the answers and explanations are behind Review Attempt.
